This 1917 silent film stars Gloria Swanson and Wallace Beery and is good, old-fashioned slapstick comedy.
Following this escape to the past, stay for the 1942 black-and-white classic “Casablanca,” starring Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman.
“The audience should have a great time, laughing with the characters in ‘Teddy’ and maybe crying with the drama of star-crossed lovers in ‘Casablanca,’” said Morgen Bahurinsky, Palace director of operations.
Tickets benefit for the Palace and the Hilo Theater Organ Society benefit are $10 in advance and $15 the day of the show. Palace box office hours are 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Call 934-7010 for credit card orders.
